Creating Documentation with Sphinx from Word¶
If you think of a Word Document as a set of paragraphs with some headings that give the document structure, Sphinx from Word takes this structure and, using Sphinx, creates webpages that form a self-contained website complete with Table of Contents, index and search function.
This documentation has been created using Sphinx from Word to give an example of how easy it is to use. There are features in Word that are not available in Sphinx from Word, but many are – and this document illustrates them all.
